On Tuesday, 24th of June, Pendel Mobility launched its first Pilot offering a transport service with an automated shuttle in the City of Barcelona! This pilot serves as a kick-off for Pendel Mobility, as well as for the Port de Barcelona in the path to deploy autonomous mobility in the near future and at a bigger scale.

The project aims to transport port workers between a parking lot at the Port de Barcelona and the World Trade Center, where many employees work. The pilot has been implemented and is operated by Pendel Mobility, collaborating closely with the Innovation team from the Port de Barcelona.

Through this achievement, Pendel Mobility showcases its potential in driving the future and capacity to implement automated mobility solutions in real life and to a larger scale.
